A combination of India and Nepal. it covers the important places in north India and Nepal. The program starts with the Delhi, the capital on India and the next stop is the famous pink city – Jaipur famous for its palaces and forts. This journey takes you through the monuments of Love Taj Mahal and erotic temples of Khajuraho. After visiting the city of spirituality – Varanasi the program continues into Nepal.

Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 1 : Delhi Arrival

Upon arrival at Delhi international airport, our company representative will meet & assist you with traditional welcome and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Rest of the day free & easy for own activities and acclimatization with Indian weather conditions.

Day 02 : Delhi – Full day tour

proceed for a full day guided tour in Delhi starting with Old Delhi visiting Raj Ghat - the memorial of Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid - the biggest mosque in India. Enjoy rickshaw ride at Chandini chowk. Later drive past through Red Fort – A red sand stone fort by Mughal emperor Shahjahan.

Afternoon continue the tour of Delhi visiting the New Delhi; Start the tour with a stop at India Gate – a war memorial built in the memory of thousands of British India army killed during First World. Continue the tour driving past Presidents house and Parliament house. Visit to Humayun's Tomb - a UNESCO World Heritage site, and Qutub Minar a 73 meter tall tower built in the year 1192AD.

Day 03 : Delhi – Jaipur (256 kms. / 05 hours drive)

Post breakfast; check-out from the hotel and drive to Jaipur; the capital city of Rajasthan State and also known as the "Pink City". Upon arrival Jaipur; check-in to the hotel and rest of the day free & easy for own activities.

Optional: Optional tour can be arranged for Samode Village Excursion or Chokhi Dhani Village Excursion.

Day 04 : Jaipur – Full day tour

Leave for an excursion to Amber Fort – a huge fort complex located on a hilltop. Enjoy the Elephant ride to ascend the Amber fort. The fort consists of Diwan - e – Aam , Diwan – e – Khas, Sheesh Mahal and Suck Niwas. After visiting Amber fort, visit to a traditional Rajasthani Handicraft & handloom factory to see the craftsmen performing.

Afternoon; visit to City Palace – the royal palace for the Maharaja of Jaipur. The palace houses a great museum and Jantar Mantar – a astronomical observatory built in 1734 AD. It has the world's largest Sundial. Before returning your hotel; a short stop in front Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) for photo shoot.

Day 05 : Jaipur – Agra via Fathehpur Sikri (240 kms. / 05 hours drive)

Post breakfast; check-out from the hotel and drive to Agra; the city of Taj Mahal. On the way stop at Fatehpur Sikri to visit Buland Darwaza, Diwan-e-aam and Diwane-e-Khas. Further continue to Agra.

Upon arrival in Agra; check-in to the hotel and later Proceed for the city tour of Agra. Visit the one of the seven wonders of world, The famous Taj Mahal…. The grace of perfection of proportions and grandeur of geometrical patterns of well-appointed gardens enhancing the poise of the whole complex together add magnificence to the delicacy of this adorable monument of love, dedication and purity, 'The Taj'!

Continue to visit another UNESCO heritage monument, the famous Agra fort. This powerful fortress of red sandstone encompasses, within its 2.5-km-long enclosure walls, the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. It is one of the most important and robustly built strongholds of the Mughals, embellished with number of richly decorated buildings encompassing the imposing Mughal style of art and architecture.

Day 06 : Agra – Jhansi (By Shatabdi Train at 0811/1045 hrs)
Jhansi – Khajuraho via Orchha (165 kms. / 04 hours drive)

Post breakfast; check-out from the hotel and transfer to Agra railway station to board the train to Jhansi.

Once reaching Jhansi; meet & assist by our company driver and drive to Khajuraho. En-route visit to Orchha; the historical town. Here you will visit Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Ram –Raja Mandir and laxmi Narayan Temple.

Further continue your drive to Khajuraho. Upon arrival; check-in to the hotel and evening enjoy the sound & light show.

Day 07 : Khajuraho – Varanasi (By Flight)

Post breakfast; proceed for a guided tour to visit Khajuraho Group of Temples famous of its erotic art. Afternoon; transfer Khajuraho airport to board the flight to Varanasi, the oldest city in India.

Upon arrival in Varanasi, transfer to the hotel for check-in and evening free at leisure for won activities and explore the oldest living city of India.

Day 08 : Varanasi – Full day tour

Early in the morning before breakfast; enjoy the boat ride on Holy River Ganges at sunrise. Later return back to the hotel to have your breakfast. Further leave for an excursion to Sarnath; where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma, and where the Buddhist Sangha came into existence through the enlightenment of Kondanna.

Afternoon return back to Varanasi and visit various ancient Temples in the city.

Evening; witness the Aarti ceremony (lighting lamps) at holy river Ganges bank.

Day 09 : Varanasi – Kathmandu (By Flight)

Post breakfast; transfer to Varanasi airport to board the flight to Kathmandu; protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Durbar Square is the religious and social heart of Kathmandu's old city and is a complex of palaces, temples, shrines, statues and courtyards built between the 12th and 18th centuries by the ancient kings of Nepal. The square is a queer assortment of the old and the new - elaborately carved architectural features and curving roofs.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu; transfer to your hotel and check-in to the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 10 : Kathmandu – Pokhra (200 kms / 06 hours)

Post breakfast; drive to Pokhara; a remarkable place of natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 827m from the sea level and 200 km west of Kathmandu valley, the city is known as a center of adventure. The enchanting city with a population of around 95,000 has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic. So today the city has not only become the starting point for most popular trekking and rafting destinations but also a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. Evening; enjoy the boating on Phewa Lake.

Day 11 : Pokhra – Full day tour

Post breakfast; proceed for a guided tour in Pokhara visiting David's Fall; Locally known as Patale Chhango (Hell's Fall), Devi's fall (also known as Devin's or David's) is an awesome waterfall lying about 2 km south-west of Pokhara airport on the highway to Tansen.

Later visit to Gupteswar Gupha; a sacred cave, lies 2 km from Pokhara airport on the Siddhartha Highway leading southwest from the city. The entrance is right across from Devi's Fall and the cave is almost 3 km long. It has some big hall-size rooms and some passages where you have to crawl on all fours.

Also visit Barahi Temple; the most important religious monument in Pokhara. Built almost in the middle of Phewa Lake, the two storied pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima, the protectress deity representing the female force Shakti.

Further continue your visit to Bindbyabasini Temple; Bindhyabasini temple is the center of religious activity in the old bazaar. It is dedicated to goddess Bhagwati, yet another manifestation of Shakti.

Also visit Barahi Temple; the most important religious monument in Pokhara. Built almost in the middle of Phewa Lake, the two storied pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima, the protectress deity representing the female force Shakti.
Further continue your visit to Bindbyabasini Temple; Bindhyabasini temple is the center of religious activity in the old bazaar. It is dedicated to goddess Bhagwati, yet another manifestation of Shakti.

Day 12 : Pokhra - Sarangkot, the panoramic hill Station in Pokhara.

From here, you can see a panoramic sweep of Himalayan peaks, from Dhaulagiri (8167m) in the west to the perfect pyramid that is Machhapuchhare (6997m) and the rounded peak of Annapurna II (7937m) in the east. Most people come here at dawn or dusk, when the sun picks out the peaks in brilliant colours. Evening sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple.

Day 13: Morning sightseeing of and Swayambhunath and departure for airport.

Swayambhunath; The golden spire of the 5th-century Swayambhu stupa is adorned with a colorful fluttering of prayer flags; it crowns a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley and offers fantastic views over the city of Kathmandu. Swayambhunath is one of the most recognizable symbols in Nepal and the painted eyes of Buddha watch all those who ascend the worn stone steps. It is a World Heritage Site and one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal and is at the source of the Valley's mythical beginning. Drive to airport for departure flight.

Day 14 : Delhi – Departure

Post breakfast; day free for own activities. Later transfer to Delhi International airport to board the flight to onward journey.
