Enjoy a morning boat ride on Lake Periyar where in you can see the wildlife, stay at a Tree house in Munnar amidst the nature and end the program at Cochin.

Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrive Chennai - Drive Mamallapuram (58 kms/01 hrs)

Upon Arrival at Chennai airport, You will be received by our representative and direct drive to Manallapuramen-route a small panoramic tour of chennai. Upon arrival check-in in to the hotel. Day free for leisure & own activities. Overnight at hotel.

Shore Temple

Day 02 : Mamallapuram

Morning after breakfast start the tour with local guide visiting the stunning Shore temples which are on World Heritage protected monuments list. The temples and monuments believed during the period of Pallava Kings famous for their architecture. The famous are five Ratha temples. Overnight at hotel

Day 03 : Mamallapuram - Pondicherry (130 Kms/2.5 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Pondicherry. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. The city one of the French territory during their occupation in India and still has its flavor in its colonial buildings. The most famous places to visit are the Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville an international township dedicated to humanity Overnight at hotel

Day 04 : Pondicherry - Thanjavur (190 Kms/ 05 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Thanjavur. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. Later visit the famous UNESCO World Heritage site of the Brihadeshvara Temple or Bull Temple – home to India's largest lingam; enjoy the natural splendor that surrounds the Panchanatheesvarar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight at hotel

Day 05 : Thanjavur - Madurai (180 Kms/ 05 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Madurai. Enroute visiting the famous temples of Trichy such as Rockfort Temple and Srirangam Temples. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. Day free for leisure and own activities. Overnight at hotel

Day 06 : Madurai

Morning after breakfast visiting the thousand pillared Madurai Meenakshi Temple; KoodalAlagar Temple; Thirumalai Nayak Mahal;

Evening witness the grand procession of the deity's inside the temples. Overnight at hotel.

Munnar

Day 07 : Madurai - Munnar (175 Kms/4.5 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Madurai. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. Day free for leisure and own activities.

Munnar : A haven of peace and tranquility! This picturesque scope of the lofty Western Ghats. The resort town of Munnar is famous sprawling tea plantations, pristine valleys, mountains and aroma of spice. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 : Munnar

Today morning post breakfast, proceed to sightseeing at Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park at Rajamala famous for Nilgiri Thar, Echo Point, Tea Plantations and TATA Tea processing Factory, Kundale Lake, Anayirankal Dam, Lockhart Gap Point etc.

Day 09 : Munnar - Cochin (160 Kms/4.5 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Cochin. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel.

Kochi (also known as Cochin) is a city in southwest India's coastal Kerala state. It has been a port since 1341, when a flood carved out its harbor and opened it to Arab, Chinese and European merchants. Sites reflecting those influences include Fort Kochi, a settlement with tiled colonial bungalows and diverse houses of worship. Cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, typical of Kochi, have been in use for centuries.

Day 10 : Cochin

Morning after breakfast, we take you around the city of cochin for a half day guided tour where you will be shown some important places such as Jewish Synagogue one of the oldest in Asia constructed in year 1568., Dutch Palace originally constructed by Portuguese and later by Dutch, ST. Francis Church, and Chinese Fishing Nets introduced by Chinese travelers in 14th century but still used in these parts of Kerala.

In the evening attend the traditional "Kathakali Dance Show". One of the famous dance forms of India where male actors tell a story by wearing facemasks and colorful costumes Overnight at hotel

Day 11 : Cochin - Alleppey (65 Kms/1.5 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Alleppey. Upon arrival check-in to the Deluxe Houseboat.

Enjoy the serenity of the backwater and the village life around it while cruising on the boat. The boat passes through various cannals of Alleppey which rightfully stakes claim to its nickname 'Venice of East'

All meals and overnight on board the houseboat.

Day 12 : Alleppey - Cochin (65 Kms/1.5 hrs)- Departure

After breakfast drive to Cochin and on time transfer you to the airport for departure back to home
