Detailed Tour Itinerary

Mumbai

Gateway of India, Mumbai

Day 1 : Arrive Mumbai

On arrival you will be met by our representative & transferred to hotel, where we will be holding the rooms on ready occupancy basis. After traditional welcome check in into hotel. Overnight to be spent at hotel.

Day 2 : Mumbai

In the morning, we have for you a half day tour of : Gateway of India – The stone archway designed by Wittett in the 16th century Gujarati style, Prince of Whales Museum &Elephanta Caves – 9 kms by sea. These 7th century rock – cut cave temples dedicated to Lord Shiva are situated a top a hill on the island. With everlasting memories of the day spend night at hotel.

Day 3 : Mumbai - Goa

Transfer to Airport for flight to Goa. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4 : Goa

Now, be ready to visit the city that is called the "Archaeologist's Delight". In the morning you will visit North Goa and South Goa in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5 : Goa

Today is your day, i. e. It's the day to relax. Where? At the beautiful, refreshing and health prone beaches of Goa. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6 : Goa - Belgaum – Badami

Today after breakfast drive to Badami enroute visiting Belgaum - a total picture of contrasts. On one side is the old town area and modern on other, in the heart of Belgaum is the Fort. Inside it are most famous Kamala Basti, the Jain Temple & the Jama Masjid. The Kapaleeswarar Temple, the Ananthashayana. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 : Badami

Rock–cut cave Temples, Gateways, Forts, Inscriptions, Sculptures that seem to come alive before your eyes. Badami has to be seen to be believed. Climb a flight of steps to reach the ancient caves – all hewn out of sandstone on the precipice of a hill. Also a must see are Bhutanatha temples that lend their names to the lake just beneath the cave temples. Take a dip in this green tranquil river. It is said to have the healing properties. Badami also has the eighteen inscriptions ranging from 06 th to 09 th century. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8 : Badami – Aihole – Pattadakal – Hospet

Today is your lucky day as you are going to Hospetenroute visiting Aihole and Pattadakal, and for that nothing can be said as everything is self explanatory. Aihole which is famous as the "cradle of the Indian Architecture". You will also visit Pattadakal – Situated on the left bank of the Malaprabha river, a world heritage centre, has 10 major temples representing early Chalukyan architecture, later continue towards Hospet. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9 : Hospet

Full day trip to visit the temples of Hampi Hampi's ruins are spread over 4,100 hectares (16 sq mi) and it has been described by UNESCO as an "austere, grandiose site" of more than 1,600 surviving remains of the last great Hindu kingdom in South India that includes "forts, riverside features, royal and sacred complexes, temples, shrines, pillared halls, mandapas, memorial structures, water structures and others". Visit Virupaksha temple.

Day 10 : Hospet – Hassan

Have your breakfast and head Hassan an on arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 : Hassan - Shravanbelgola – Hassan

Moring visit Belur&Halebid Temples a guided tour of Belur and Helebid Temples. The temples of Belur and Halebid are best known for their south Indian architecture. The temples are carved with scripts of Hindu mythology. The 12th century temple at Belur has many figures known as Madanikas or dancers. It has many pillars of different designs. Later the capital was shifted to Dwarasamudram (Halebid).Both these temples have carving of Puranas, the Upanishads and other mythological characters from the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. With these exquisite designs one loses himself in its beauty.

Later visit Shravanabelagola (50 kms from hassan). The Gommateshwara Bahubali a 57-foot (17 m) high monolithic statue at Shravanabelagola is one of the most important tirthas (pilgrimage destinations) in Jainism. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 12 : Hassan – Coorg

Today morning we will be going to Coorg.

Proudly called the Scotland of India, Kodagu, or Coorg as it is rightfully called is situated on the Western Ghats in the state of Karnataka in India. The small town is gifted with abundance. Coorg is the largest producer of coffee in India, and the best places to visit in Coorg are its picturesque coffee plantations.

On arrival check-in at hotel. Post lunch visit a coffee plantation. Also visit like Raja's Seat, Omkareshwara Temple, Bylakuppe the only Tibetan settlement in south India.

Day 13 : Coorg – Mysore

Today morning have your breakfast & ride with us to the exclusive locales of Mysore. On arrival, check in into hotel.

Mysore erstwhile capital of Kingdom of Mysore famous for opulent Mysore Palace, seat of the former rulers. The palace blends Hindu, Islamic, Gothic and Rajput styles. Mysore is also home to the centuries-oldDevaraja Market, filled with spices, silk and sandalwood.

In the afternoon visit Mysore Palace, Bull Temple, Art Gallery Overnight at hotel.

Day 14 : Mysore

Morning visit Srirangapatnam - The capital of Tipu Sultan's empire visiting The Ranganatha Swamy Temple, Tipu's Palace known as the Daria Daulat Bagh.

Afternoon visit Somnathpur Temple located at 38 kms from Mysore, this temple build in 1258 is one of the best example of Hoysala architecture. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15 : Mysore - Bangalore

Today morning, drive to Bangalore.

Bengaluru" – A traveller's delight. A Verdant city amidst the Serene greenery filled with loads of fun and colorful delights. Known as the "Garden City Of India" and also as the "Silicon Valley of India" Bengaluru is the capital of 'Karnataka' and one of most Scenic and Pristine Metropolitan cities in India.

Upon arrival check in to the hotel. In the evening visit Vidhan Sabha, the seat of state legislature, and Tipu's Palace which was his summer residence and other important places Overnight at hotel.

Day 16 : Bangalore

Departure transfer to International Airport for flight back home.
