Gujarat, India’s westernmost state is famous for various important monuments . The state is known for the birthplace for Mahatma Gandhi – The Father of the Nation . He started the Indian freedom movement from the Sabarmati Ashram located in Ahmedabad. This ashram served as important focal point in the initial stages of the freedom movement .Numerous decisions were taken at this ashram which determined the future of India. A must visit place during your trip. The state is also famous for the Lothal which is one of the earliest settlements of Indus Valley Civilization . And not to miss to see the famous Asiatic Lion at Sassan Gir.

Post breakfast; proceed for a guided tour in Ahmadabad visiting Jama masjid – built in 1423. Built of yellow sandstone in an architectural style, that combines the best of Muslim & Hindu traditions. Later visit Teen Darwaja; The triple-arched gateway was built by Sultan Ahmed Shah to serve as the royal entrance to the Maidan Shahi or the Royal Square. Also visit to SiddiSaiyyed Mosque; celebrated the world over for its exquisite stone window tracery – a superb & peerless example of delicate carving that transforms stone into filigree. Also visit Gandhi Ashram; on a quiet peaceful stretch of the Sabarmati River, Mahatma Gandhi set up a simple retreat in 1915. Visit night handicraft market at Law Garden.

Post breakfast; check-out from the hotel and drive to Little Rann Of Kutch en-route visiting Modhera & Patan. Modhera; The Sun temple of Modhera is one of the finest examples of Indian architecture of its period. Later visit Patan; a beautiful old town with Jain temples and carved wooden houses. Ranikivav (step well) is an excellent example of subterranean architecture of Gujarat.

Morning visit the wildlife sanctuary. Post breakfast; leave for Bhuj. On arrival check-in to the hotel Overnight at Bhuj hotel.
Post breakfast proceed for a guided tour visiting Prag Mahal and Aaina Mahal. Aaina Mahal; constructed in 1707-61 A.D, Aaina Mahal is a unique example of an Indian palace built in the mid-eighteenth century with European influence. Later visit to Prag Mahal; built in 1838-76 A.D., constructed in the Italian Gothic style, it has a large Darbar Hall, big rooms, wide verandahs& a 45 meter high lofty bell tower.

Post breakfast; drive to Gondal. En-route visit to Bhujodi to meet the weavers of the community. Bhujodi; a small town just 8 km southeast of Bhuj, is a major textile center of Kutch, with the vast majority of the 1200 inhabitants involved in textile handicraft production. Here you can meet weavers, tie-dye artists and block printers, most of who belong to the Vankar community.
Further continue to Gondal and check-in to the heritage hotel. The highlight of staying at these properties is that guests can see the Royal Garages, housing vintage & classic cars, and the Naulakha Palace, royal memorabilia .Overnight at Gondal hotel.
Post breakfast; check-out from the hotel and drive towards Sasangir. Stop at Junagadh (70 kms / 1.5 hrs). Here we will visit Uparkot Fort; famous in bygone times for its virtual inaccessibility, the Uparkot or Upper Fort is and one of the oldest forts in India . Also visit Ashoka Rock Edicts; on the way to Girnar, fourteen Rock Edicts of the Emperor Ashoka can be seen inscribed on a great boulder. The inscriptions carry Brahmi script in Pali language and dates back to 250BC. On the same rock are inscriptions in Sanskrit and visit Maqbara; the mausolea of the Nawabs, the traditional rulers of Junagadh.
Further continue your drive to Sasangir (1.5 hrs ) Upon arrival; check-in to the hotel and rest of the day free at leisure.Overnight at Sasangir hotel
Today morning post breakfast leave for Jeep Safari to Sasangir National Park. Sasan Gir; popularly known as Gir, the most famous loin sanctuary in India and is home to nearly 400 Asiatic loins. This is the only place in the World outside the African continent where the loin can be seen in its natural habitat. Gir also provides natural habitat to a lot of other species like Chital, Chinkara (Gazelle) four horned antelope. Leopard, Nilgai, Spotted Deer, Wild Boar, Wild Ass, Monkeys, Parrots and Peacocks. Post breakfast; drive back to Ahmadabad. Upon arrival; check-in to the hotel and evening free for last minute shopping in Ahmadabad.
