Two Spiritual places Amritsar for Sikhs and Dharamshala for Buddhists. Visit Dharamshala where Tibetan spiritual leader HH Dalia Lama has made his home after escaping from Tibet.
Arrival Delhi Airport; meet & assist by our representative and transfer to hotel for check-in. Rest of the day is free for leisure and relax. Overnight at Delhi hotel.
Post breakfast; morning on time transfer to Delhi airport to board the flight to Dharamshala. Dharamshala is a city in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by cedar forests on the edge of the Himalayas, this hillside city is home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile. The Thekchen Chöling Temple Complex is a spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism.
Upon arrival transfer to Hotel / Camp. Later in evening visit Dalai Lama temple & monastery at McLeod Ganj.
Overnight at Hotel/ Nature Based Camp.
Post breakfast; proceed to sightseeing tour of Dharamshala visiting Dalai Lama temple & monastery at McLeod Ganj, Bhagsunag temple, Dal lake at Naddi, St. John's Church, Norbulingka (a Tibetan center for learning and Preserving traditional Tibetan art and craft) and in night free for leisure or shopping at Mall road. Overnight at Hotel/ Nature based Camp
Post breakfast; drive to Amritsar; - Founded in 1577 by the fourth Sikh guru, Guru Ram Das, Amritsar is home to the spectacular Golden Temple, Sikhism's holiest shrine and one of India's most serene and humbling sights. The same cannot be said for the hyperactive streets surrounding the temple, but they're a delight to walk through for a sensory overload of sights, sounds and smells. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel & relax. In evening visit Golden Temple- Golden Temple-the most important sikh shrine also known as Harmandir Sahib and Darbar Sahib. Evening is free for own activities. Overnight at Amritsar hotel.
Post breakfast; morning proceed to visit again Golden Temple, and Jaliyn Wala bagh. Later in evening excursion trip to Wagh Border; every day of the year, just before sunset, a flag lowering ceremony takes place at the Wagah Border between India and Pakistan. We can see the changing of guards at the same time.
Overnight at Amritsar hotel.
Post breakfast; Morning transfer to Amritsar airport or railway station to board the train to Delhi. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. Later proceed the half day temple tour of Delhi visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Akashardham temple and drive Pass India Gate, President House & Parliament. Overnight at Delhi hotel.
Post breakfast; on time transfer to Delhi airport to board the flight to onward to journey.
