Welcome to Guwahati. Meet and be assisted by our representative at the Airport / Railway Station & proceed to Shillong, also called 'Scotland of the East" (100 kms 3 hrs). While traveling we see the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani) surrounded by sylvan hills and wrapped in the beauty of an assortment of green Khasi-pines and the azure blue skies. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening you can visit the local market.

After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (60 kms, 1.5 hrs), the wettest place in the world. You will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai, known to be worlds fourth largest waterfalls. You can also explore the caves known Mawsmai, 250-meter long caves. Evening return to Shillong. en-route visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views Overnight stay in Shillong
Post breakfast; proceed for a tour in Shillong visiting Shillong Peak; it is the highest point of Shillong, located in the upper Shillong an altitude of 1961 meters (6,433 feet). Later visit to Elephant Falls; one of the majestic waterfalls in Meghalaya. The water of this three steps falls comes down in flows from different levels over the fern-covered rocks and falls into the canyon down below. Also visit to Wards Lake and Cathedral of Mary Help of Christian. Overnight at Shillong hotel.
After breakfast transfer to Nameri National Park in Assam near Arunachal border. Nameri National Park - one of the two national parks in Assam is known for Mammals like Elephant, Tiger, Leopard, and over 300 species of birds. The river Jia- Bhoroli and its tributaries crisscross the park.. Overnight at Eco Camp, a camp resort.
Early morning you can have a walk inside the park. Later after breakfast we gear up for a river rafting (if available) down the sparkling river Jia Bhoroli which forms a boundary to the park. Later in the afternoon transfer to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the home to the endangered one horned rhinoceros The Park has more than 70% of the world's one-horned rhino.Overnight at Eco Camp/a camp resort.
Early morning explore Western Zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of elephant. Apart from world's endangered One-horned Rhinoceros, the Park sustains half the world's population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild elephants and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tigers anywhere. Kaziranga is also a bird watcher's paradise and home to some 500 species of birds. The Crested Serpent Eagle, Palla's Fishing Eagle, Greyheaded Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed goose, whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons and Pelicans are some of the species found here. We will return to the resort for breakfast. Afternoon we have arranged a jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park. Evening come back to the hotel. After breakfast transfer to Sangsua / Gatoonga Tea Estate near Jorhat. On arrival check- in to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure enjoying the tea garden. If tea plucking and the factory works go on we shall take the assistance of a garden executive to explain us the method of tea plucking or tea processing. Unlike many tea producing nations in the world, the Tea Gardens in Assam are fairly big in size covering several hectares. Assam tea is known for its Black Teas-Orthodox and C.T.C. We shall take a day long excursion to Majuli Island after early breakfast. Majuli is the largest river island in the world. It is the center of Assam's famous Vaisnavite form of Hinduism. The religious and cultural traditions are kept alive by the dedicated monks living in the monasteries locally known as Sattra. The Sattriya dance of this sect is the latest entry into India's recognized classical dances.. In the late afternoon we return the same way to Sangsua/Gatoonga tea estate.

Transfer to Guwahati. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. Later day free for own activity and leisure. Overnight at hotel in Guwahati.
Full day sightseeing in & around Guwahati including Sualkuchi silk village, Madan Kamdev archaeological ruins, Kamakhya temple etc.
Overnight at hotel in Guwahati.
Transfer to Guwahati airport/railway station on time to catch your departure flight/train for onward journey.
